Excellence and Feature of Friday

FolderIslamku.blogspot.com Privileges on Friday are the times of prayer, the last moments after the ashar prayer (as explained in many hadiths) or among the seated priests on the pulpit during the Friday sermon until the prayers are completed.

God specializes this Friday only for the Muslims of all the peoples of the former peoples. In it are many secrets and virtues that come directly from God.

In a narration, the Prophet once said. "The best day where the sun rises in it is Friday. On that day Adam Alaihis Salam was created, put into heaven, excluded from it and the apocalypse did not occur except on Fridays. "[Muslim History]

The Messenger of Allah also said: "The most important day for you is Friday, so beware of sholawat to me in it, because your sholawat will be shown to me, the Companions say: 'How is shown to you while you have become the land?' The Prophet said: Surely Allah forbids the earth to eat the bodies of the Prophets. "(Shohih, HR, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, An-Nasa'i)

Friday is a glorious day, with it God glorifies and adorns Islam. God glorifies the people of Muhammad sallallaahu 'alahi wasallam by Friday, which was not given to the people of the previous prophets.

There are several propositions that show the primacy of Friday. There are even some scholars who specifically make it in one form of work, such as the book al-Lum'ah Fi Khashaish al-Friday, the work of Sheikh Jalaluddin al-Suyuthi.

Here are the postulates that mention the virtue of Friday.

Al-Imam al-Syafi'i and al-Imam Ahmad narrated from Sa'ad bin 'Ubadah a hadith:

"The king's day with God is Friday. He is greater than the Feast of the Day and the Feast of Fithri. In Friday there are five virtues. On Friday God created the Prophet Adam and took him from heaven to earth. On Friday also the Prophet Adam died. In Friday there is a time when no servant asks for anything in it unless Allah grants his request, as long as it does not ask for sin or breaks the shilaturrahim rope. Judgment Day also occurs on Friday. There is no Angel near Allah, the heavens, the earth, the wind, the mountains and the rocks unless he is afraid of the doomsday on Friday. "

Why are the heavens, earth, rocks and other dead objects worried? Though these objects are lifeless creatures?

Sheikh Ihsan bin Dakhlan in Manahij al-Imdad explains as follows:

"That is, God created these lifeless creatures of the things that happened on that Friday. The secret of their concern is that the doomsday as described occurs on Fridays between the dawn and the rising of the sun. So it is not the animals except the fear of the coming of the Day of Judgment this Friday morning. When the morning comes, they praise God and congratulate each other, they say; this is a good day. Doomsday does not happen this morning ". (Sheikh Ihsan bin Dakhlan, Manahij al-Imdad Syarh Irsyad al-'Ibad, juz.1, p.286, Ponpes Jampes Kediri prints, tt).

Imam Ahmad and Imam Tirmidhi narrated from Abdillah bin 'Amr bin al-'Ash a hadith:

"There is no Muslim who dies in the day or night of Friday, unless Allah guards him from the tomb of the grave".

Shaykh Ihsan bin Dakhlan in the book Manahij al-Imdad Syarh Irsyad al-'Ibad, juz.1, p.286 prints Pondok Pesantrena Jampes Kediri, quotes from Imam al-'Azizi that the hadith reached the degree of hadith Hasan.

The scholars differ on the intention of preserving the person who died on Friday from the grave defamation. According to Imam al-Manawi the man was not asked Angel at the cemetery. Meanwhile, according to the opinion held by Imam al-Zayadi, that people who died on Friday still asked the angel, but he was given ease in living it.

Sheikh Ihsan bin Dakhlan said:

"The meaning of the hadith, Imam al-Manawai said with as much he was not asked the angel in his grave. This al-Manawi opinion violates the meaning of zhahirnya hadith. Opinions held by Imam al-Zayadi that the question of angels in the grave is comprehensive for every person mukallaf except martyrs who died in the battlefield. The statement that says that a group of scholars is not asked the angels in the grave is directed at the meaning of the absence of slander, meaning they are still asked by angels and do not get slander. (Sheikh Ihsan bin Dakhlan, Manahij al-Imdad Syarh Irsyad al-'Ibad, juz.1, p.286, Ponpes Jampes Kediri prints, tt).

Running the Friday prayer is a hajj of people who can not afford. Imam al-Qadla'i and Ibn Asakir from Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allaah sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said:

"Friday is the hajis of the needy".

Related to the hadith, Sheikh Ihsan bin Dakhlan explains:

"That is, the departure of those who can not afford the pilgrimage to Friday prayers, such as going to the place of pilgrimage in terms of getting reward, although different levels of reward. In this hadith gives impetus to do Friday ". (Sheikh Ihsan bin Dakhlan, Manahij al-Imdad Syarh Irsyad al-'Ibad, juz.1, p.282, Ponpes Jampes Kediri prints, tt).

In another hadith mentioned:

"Whoever washes his clothes and his head, takes a bath, rushes on Friday, meets the beginning of the sermon, walks and does not climb the vehicle, close to the Imam, listens to the sermon and does not play, so each step gets the reward of fasting and praying for a year. (Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and al-Hakim).

This hadeeth according to Imam al-Tirmidhi is Hasan's hadith and according to al-Hakim attains the degree of hadith of Saheeh.

In the hadith of Imam Muslim mentioned:

"Whosoever does wudlunya then fix his wudlunya, then depart Friday, close to the Imam and listen to his khutbah, then his sin between that day and next Friday plus three days forgiven". (Muslim).

Muslims who read al-Kahf's letter on Friday, he will be dinanugi light between two Friday. Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said:

"Whoever reads the letter of al-Kahf on Friday, then Allah gave him a ray of light between the two Fridays."

The hadith is narrated and revered by imam al-Hakim.

The Prophet urged him to reproduce the reading of the shalawat on Friday. In a hadith it is asserted:

"Expand to read shalawat to me in the day and night of Friday. Whoever reads shalawat for you once, then Allah rewards him ten times ".

The hadith is narrated al-Baihaqi with some good sanads (hasan).

There are still a lot of perkislim on Friday. Among others are; In "al-Musnad" from the hadith of Abu Lubabah bin Abdul Munzir, from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said:

"The day's predecessor is Friday, he is the most important day in the presence of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala, more glorious in the sight of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala than on the day of Eid and Eid al-Adha. On that Friday there are five privileges: That day, the father of all mankind, Prophet Adam 'Alaihissalam was created, descended into the world, and died. Judgment Day will not happen except Friday.

Therefore, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) glorified him today, honored him, and dedicated him to worship more than any other day.

Those are some explanations of the primacy and privilege of Friday. There are still many arguments that mention the virtue of Friday and far more than what has been discussed. Hopefully useful and worth worship Allah SWT. FolderIslamku.blogspot.com
